The Armentano's family is the proud owner of this farm from time out of mind; the structure and the surrounding estate have been cleverly reinvented to offer more features to the demanding traveller, while maintaining the traditions of the rural lucano lifestyle.
Already in the name, the Masseria expresses the concept that has always permeated the lives of these people, life of unforgettable dawns, of hard work in the corn and pepper fields, in the orchards, in the olive groves, life of frugal meals in the shadow of oak trees where there still seems to hear the laughter of tired laborers, coming back home at sunset cuddled by humble dedication of the "Women" of the house, then falling asleep on a mattress filled with straw and on a pillow of stars that only Lucania can offer...
